Manager Jobs description
An energy manager is responsible for successful and efficient operations of energy conservation and energy generation units; ensuring that the resources are utilized in a cost effective manner; ensuring that appropriate levels of energy are generated on time to time basis; participating in resources allocation to various divisions; promoting and implementing energy conservation drives across the organization; providing training and development opportunities to various technicians; participating in formulation of policies and best practices in the area of energy management; giving inputs in preparation of energy usage manuals; giving training or advice to trainee energy managers and performing other responsibilities as required. An energy manager typically reports to an energy director.An energy manager should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree may also be required. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Several years of experience in energy management is essential.
