Supervisor Jobs description
An energy supervisor is responsible for supervising energy conservation and energy generation units; ensuring that the resources are utilized in the best possible manner; ensuring that appropriate levels of energy are generated on time to time basis; allocating resources to various divisions; promoting energy conservation drives across the division, coordinating with other energy supervisors, providing training and development opportunities to workers, participating in formulation of policies in the area of energy management, giving inputs in preparation of energy usage manuals, giving training or advice to trainee energy supervisors and performing other tasks as required. An energy supervisor typically reports to an energy director.An energy supervisor should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree may be required for some positions. Excellent academic credentials are required. Several years of experience in energy management is essential. Strong ability to motivate others is essential for an energy supervisor role.
