**Job Description Summary**
The Nuclear Fuel Analysis Engineer will contribute on the Reload Design & Analysis team in performance of reload licensing, cycle management, core monitoring databank preparation, and associated technical support for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants operating with GNF fuel.

**Responsibilities**
Perform technical evaluations and provide technical support in the areas of reload licensing, cycle management, and core monitoring databanks
Mentor other engineers in performing technical evaluations in reload licensing, cycle management, and core monitoring databanks
Provide process leader expertise and technical problem solving in the areas of reload licensing, cycle management, and core monitoring databanks
Effectively communicate and coordinate activities with internal and external project managers, technical personnel, and customers on engineering/technical issues
Maintain and/or exceed baseline project schedule and cost in delivery of nuclear fuel reload engineering deliverables
Prepare, document and present technical data to internal and external customers
Contribute to team process improvements to drive speed and simplification
Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with NRC rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards
**Basic Qualifications**
B.S. Degree in engineering, physics, or closely related science discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 8 years of experience in nuclear fuel design and analysis, nuclear safety analysis, reactor engineering, or closely related field
**Desired Qualifications**
Masters degree in Nuclear Engineering or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university
Knowledge and experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) reload licensing, cycle management, and/or core monitoring systems along with the associated regulatory/licensing requirements
Experience with BWR core simulator and use of 3-Dimensional neutron kinetics codes
Object-oriented programming experience such as C#, C , Python

_The salary range for this position is $106k-$142k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus._
