in our Little Rock, AR

market to support the growth of our Power Generation sales channel. We’re looking for a dynamic and solutions driven candidate who has passion for developing business as well as expertise in providing focus and accountability for achieving company initiatives and personal success.

As the Power Solutions Rep, your primary goal is to develop new business in a specific market. You are responsible for maintaining and improving relationships with existing and potential customers. This position is also responsible for marketing Clifford Power and products Clifford Power represents to the electrical community. Additionally, the Power Solutions Rep will follow up with customers throughout the selling process, assist customers with documentation, assist in formulation of marketing plans and provide weekly reports as requested.

You must be highly engaged and able to serve as a respected team member. Additionally, you will work with counterparts in Sales and Operations Leadership to ensure we are creating solutions that benefit our end user and Clifford Power equally.

Sales/Product Portfolio

Sell Power Generator Equipment to End Users (direct or through contractor relationships)

Cultivate relationships and work within the engineering community to have Generac specified on design build projects

Additional Job Responsibilities:

Maximize Customer-Facing selling time

Build customer relationships with an emphasis in the engineering community

Sales opportunity detection

Close profitable orders

Achieve assigned sales quota

Produce year-over-year sales growth

Reporting & data entry: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Sales Forecasting

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field.

Experience:

5-10 years experience in sales environment preferably in the emergency power generation industry

Basic knowledge of diesel and natural gas engines generators or electrical knowledge is a strong plus

Required:

Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business

Strong relationship maintenance

Excellent customer follow-up

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Abilities and Attributes:

Possess a strong sense of urgency and drive for success

Self-starter with attention to detail

Must exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service

Strong organization and efficient time management skills
