This is a Project position designed to support project work for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the project is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of 3-5 years based on business needs at the present time following which you will separate from the Company. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future, at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 3 years of assignment. From year 4 through the end of your assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.
Primary responsibilities include supporting the Renewables & Energy Solutions group in the implementation of Residential programs. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the work that supports the Residential programs. This includes overseeing work performd by vendors, managing and reporting on internal QA/QC efforts, work management process and procedures, budgetary and other performance goals related to the work completed, as well as ensuring proper controls and practices are in place to monitor vendor performance and support payments to vendors. The Residential program measures include, but are not limited to, blower door test and analysis, installation of energy savings measures such as insulation, programmable thermostats and installation of LED lamps.  Appropriately identify and respond to clients' business needs, facilitate the presentation of recommendations, effectively present complex and/or technical information to a wide audience, and guide discussions toward attainment of mutually acceptable goals and outcomes.  Accurately analyze information, make strategic decisions/recommendations, and guide decision-making by identifying the anticipated benefits, consequences, and impacts of alternatives. Interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, project personnel, and all levels of management enterprise-wide to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Project management and technical aptitude and analytical skills are important to support the diverse needs of the Energy Efficiency Team. The successful candidate will need to effectively communicate with BPU Staff regarding customer issues. Manage contractors that perform random onsite monitoring of vendors work and prepare written reports on findings.
 The successful candidate will also provide technical support to the Energy Efficiency Team.
Required Skills, Education, Experience and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5 years of professional relevant experience
Ability to obtain one of the following BPI Certifications within 6 months: Building Analyst, Envelope, Heating and Cooling.
Demonstrated ability to manage contractors.
Knowledgeable in residential energy savings measures and techniques and new and current technologies and trends.
Knowledge of energy savings techniques and energy using systems for residential customers.
Demonstrated ability to network and maintain partnerships with key trade allies, industry professionals, regulators, etc.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
Because the job requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, must possess a valid driver's license with a safe and satisfactory driver history.

Desired Skills, Education, Experience and Competencies:
Master's degree.
Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, proficiency in Excel and Word.
5 or more years of Alternative Sustainable Energy Solutions Experience.
