The GE Aviation plant in Hooksett, New Hampshire, is a state-of-the-art facility that uses the latest technology to manufacture components primarily for military and commercial aircraft engines. Vane sectors, tube assemblies and blisks manufactured in Hooksett are assembled into engines at GE Aviation facilities in Lynn, Massachusetts, and Evendale, Ohio. This facility is located on 16.6 acres in Hooksett, New Hampshire, located between Manchester, the largest city in the state, and Concord, the state capitol. Role Summary/Purpose

The Lead Manufacturing Specialist is involved with Engineering associated with the Sectors manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, the Lead Manufacturing Specialist will:

Define and control production process including tooling and equipment

Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment

Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations

Work together with business leadership at SPB and EB level

Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research done

Deliver products as part of a team

Work on cross functional teams

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
