Employee will assist in operating the transmission and high-pressure gas system including main line valves.8. Employee will assist in the shut down and purging of transmission and high-pressure mains necessary for tie-ins, extensions and/or replacement work.9. Employee will assist in the investigation and assist in the correction of malfunctions related to gas measurements and regulator stations, pits, assemblies, and associated equipment.10. Employee will assist in the inspection and testing of large commercial and industrial customer piping for compliance with the applicable government and Company rules, regulations and practices governing the installation of gas piping.11. Employee will assist in the performance of duties related to the installation, operation, testing and maintenance of meters, customer regulators and over-pressure protective devices in large commercial and industrial settings.12. Employee will assist in the turning on and off of gas for large commercial and industrial customers, including purging piping systems .13. Employee will ensure proper painting of various gas installations as required.14. Employee will assist and calculate gas loads for customer and Company facilities.15.
