SourceOne’s Energy Management division provides Energy data analytics and meter data management services to various clients. SourceOne, Inc. maintains over 20,000 meter points in which the team of Energy Analysts are responsible for monitoring and billing on a monthly basis.

SourceOne, Inc.is actively seeking an energetic and self-motivated professional to join our Energy Management team.

Great Benefits!  Salary $80,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus potential!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly reporting to Manager of Energy Management

Professional service to account relationships

Building customer relationships as key member of management team

Gathering and consolidating data from varied sources

 Managing utility information for multiple customers on a daily and monthly basis

 Validating and verifying customer costs and utilization using rate engines

 Fielding inquiry requests and managing problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues

 Coordinating and assisting with new customer account creation

 Developing customized reports to support specific customer needs

 Researching and identifying procedures for the authorizations of access to customer’s utility information

Collect and organize various energy data sources, develop analysis into processes and code using various tools such as Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and improve existing processes

Perform Quality Assurance of data integrated into the system

 Providing follow-up with utility representatives and commodity suppliers as needed

Supporting project management requests as required by the rest of the upper management team

 Create and manage work orders to coordinate meter inspections, installations, and other inquiries.

 Review electrical one-line diagrams and start-up reports to ensure accurate representation of utility metering.

Qualifications Education/Experience

BS/BA required preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Data Science or Data Analytics certification required

3 years of energy related experience required

2 years of Tableau experience required

Strong knowledge of building science and the energy industry is required

Advanced PC and Microsoft Office skills 

Advanced SQL skills required

Strong analytical/problem solving skills required

Languages: R, Python, or MATLAB

Knime experience preferred

Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong telephone etiquette

Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills

Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications

Ability to prioritize work

High level of professionalism and integrity
