Analyst (Associate/Senior), CSC Gas Reimbursements','20181042','!*!About the Position:
The Associate Analyst/ Analyst in CSC Gas Reimbursement will support the Program Manager of CSC Reimbursement to ensure project tracking and timely receipt of all required reimbursable documentation for the New York City jurisdiction. The Analyst will prepare required documentation to submit reimbursement invoices to NYC.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Support NYC DEP/DDC inquiries and disputes.
Understanding of the construction process in the NY Gas Business
Interacts significantly with the Gas Construction Organization to ensure timely submission of documentation and labor charges.
Assist with any performance modelling that supports planning and budgeting scenario analyses.
Supports monthly forecasts, budgets and KPIs to increase financial profitability, maximize profits and achieve maximum financial recovery.
Support Company Operating and Business Plans.
Project Management and Tracking Support
Determination of In-Scope, Out of Scope Activities
Monitor As Built status/change reporting
Prepare Report of Materials based on Field Sketches
Prepare work order status reports','!*!
Knowledge & Experience Required:
An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting OR Minimum 2 years of related finance/accounting/Operations work experience
Advance degree or certification preferred
Strong communication (written & oral) and presentation skills
Demonstrated knowledge of finance systems and business processes preferred.
Strong Financial analytical skills preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities through effective planning and execution skills.
Knowledge with SAP, Maximo, and/or Financial Management Systems preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Access, Excel, Outlook, Project, Word, etc.)
Knowledge with Gas Engineering and/or Construction Practices preferred
