Role Summary:

The Process Engineer will be involved with the engineering associated with NC Mill manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the Process Engineer, you will:

Define and control production process including tooling and equipment

Ability to learn GE specifications for milling applications

Facilitate and drive process improvements to meet business metrics

Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment

Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations

Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level

Works together with shop operators and programing technicians

Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done

Ability to learn NC Programming

Delivers products as part of a team

Works on cross functional teams

Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment Desired Characteristics:

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Ability to influence others and lead small teams

Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

Effective problem identification and solution skill

Proven analytical and organizational ability

Demonstrated process orientation in approach to work
