From conservation to renewable energy generation, our employees have developed and implemented over $5 Billion in energy savings solutions that help our customers utilize clean and sustainable resources.n nNew opportunity for a Project Development Engineer to partner with our Regional Team developing and implementing energy savings, renewable technology and renovation projects.  This position is located in St Louis, MO.nResponsibilitiesnCoordinate visits to customer project sites to investigate existing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and document energy performance information, including utility data and facility infrastructure drawings.nIdentify opportunities for conservation or efficiency, prepare energy savings calculations, and perform engineering assessment including baseline profiles, end-use and retrofit analysis.nAssist in engineering design and development activities in support of construction, operations, and maintenance of customer site projects as required by energy savings performance contracts.nAnalyze and prepare conceptual and detailed engineering design and bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for energy efficient building technology and system measures.nCoordinate with vendors and installation contractors for feasibility and pricing verification of proposed project modifications.nProvide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and presentations.nCompliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.nEnsure successful project implementation that meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical needs required to deliver customer energy cost savings.nCultivate and maintain positive business relationships.nPerform other duties as required.nQualificationsnREQUIREMENTS:nBSME or equivalent four year technical engineering degree with proven energy efficiency and/ or renewable technology project development and implementation work experience. Non-degreed equivalent experience may be considered.nA Minimum of 5 Years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering (HVAC) or Contracting is required.n nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:nAbility to analyze and quantify energy savings and implement projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit, controls, distributed generation and lighting.nKnowledge of measurement and verification is desired.nFamiliarity with building simulation and related software, Trace, HAP, DOE is required.nEstimating/Budgeting and financial planning experience is required.nProfessional registration or educational progress toward PE, CEM, LEED is a plus, but not required.nMechanical Contracting background is a plus.nExcellent verbal, written, and computer communication and technical presentation skills.nValid Driveru2019s License in good standing, issued by resident state required.nU.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.nMay be required to pass security clearance investigation.nTravel may be required.n nInterested individuals are encouraged to APPLY DIRECTLY through the AMERESCO Company.
