Up to 10% travel Preferences Masteru2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Active Secret Clearance Experienceu00a0in DC-DC converters, operational amplifiers, comparators, bipolar transistors, buffers, DACu2019s, ADCu2019s, power MOSFETu2019s, and gate driversu00a0and applying thisu00a0technology to support RF/microwave applications Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, current probes, frequency response analyzer, and multimeters Knowledge in the areas of feedback control theory, power magnetics, DC-DC power switching topologies and synchronous rectification, EMI/EMC filter design, and military standards Experience on tools such as a SPICE based circuit analysis program (PSPICE, LTSPICE, HSPICE), schematic capture (Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, ORCAD Capture) and board layout (Mentor Graphics Expedition, ORCAD PADS) Background or interest in digital and RF/Microwave design Design for harsh environments experience (including radiation) Familiar with selection of parts suitable for space environments Viasat is located in Tempe, Arizona in the ASU Technology Center.
