Energy Conservation Specialist
DNV GL - Energy’s Sustainable Use group is seeking an Energy Conservation Specialist to help a Montana utility company, provide energy efficiency services to residential and commercial customers. This position will work remotely from Bozeman, MT, supporting our Helena, MT office.
Tasks May Include
Perform on-site residential energy surveys and inspections
Perform safety inspections on natural gas appliances
Install or provide free energy conservation measures
Provide education, ideas and solutions for energy efficiency
Represent utility company in public events
What we're asking
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree is preferred
Must have at least 1 Year of related experience in Energy, Building Sciences or Construction Trades
Building Science education or experience preferred
BPI, HERS or home inspection certification is a plus
Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must have basic mathematical skills
Customer service and phone skills are essential
Must be willing to travel 75% of the time
Must perform work professionally and be respectful of customer needs
Must be team oriented
Must complete scheduled work on time
Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb a ladder, kneel, crawl, sit and stand the majority of the time
Must provide and maintain accurate data and records according to schedule
Must maintain tools, equipment, inventory and vehicle
Must be able to meet the requirements to drive for company business
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
