The Supply Chain PLM Manufacturing Engineer will provide leadership, support, and implementation of the new business wide PLM system, Teamcenter. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of detailed business process, tools, and requirements for the PLM system. Thew Supply Chain PLM System Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for leading change across other functions required to support the overall business objectives.
Assist in the implementation of PLM functionality for global GE Transportation Supply Chain
Develop and implement the process interfaces between Engineering and Supply Chain for managing design data and change management
Develop and implement a process for structuring Manufacturing Bills of Material and Bills of Process form Engineering Bills of Material
Work directly with Engineering to develop EBOM concepts and requirements
Develop processes to simplify the value chain from part creation
Lead continuous improvement and simplification projects to optimize system solutions Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
Minimum of 3 additional years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist. Desired Characteristics:
