General DescriptionIdentify, penetrate and close new customer sales opportunities while managing and growing existing business through a share of wallet growth initiatives. Maintain the highest level of profitability through a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape. Possess a high level of technical understanding and working knowledge necessary to communicate and sell into the Industrial lubricants market segment. DutiesProvide timely and accurate reporting to the Industrial Sales Manager and Associate Business Unit Manager regarding sales activities and assignments as required.Develop new accounts and implement plans for growth in existing accounts utilizing active pipeline management techniques and CRM tools.Participate in training programs and group exercises as directed by the Industrial Sales Manager. Incorporate ongoing training and development tools into a day to day activities to better manage market changes, product knowledge, and processes necessary to develop sales growth.Communicate customer needs and service issues to the correct people within O’Rourke so a timely and positive resolution can be provided. Establish clear lines of communications with key personnel related to Safety, Customer Service, Operations, Technical Staff, Credit, Finance, IT, Sales, Purchasing and Equipment departments.Prepare and present sales presentations in conjunction with suppliers and technical resources to include; Value Proposition, KPI management, Customer Programs, Brand Awareness, Cost Reduction and Consolidation, Technical Services, Cross Marketing, etc.Possess a thorough understanding of long and short term goals as they relate to:· Company growth· Key Account management· Increased products and services growth year over year· Meeting or exceeding monthly DGP (direct gross profit) goals set by management· Goal related compensationProvide quotes, follow up with customers and maintain healthy relationships with an external and internal customer base.Ensure delivery of customer orders on a timely basis and with the highest possible level of communication, quality, and service.Coordinate with appropriate departments in the resolution of customer complaints regarding damaged or incorrect material, or delivery problems.Provide customers with a personalized level of customer service that reinforces the importance of customer satisfaction.Other duties as assigned by management.Must carry auto liability insurance limits of at least
