Role Summary: The Product Quality Engineer is responsible for product quality review within the manufacturing process and for developing process improvements. Essential Responsibilities: In addition, as the Product Quality Engineer, you will: Monitor product quality and process control for assigned process Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process, and quality management system Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, raw materials, analysis, and quality system Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected Submit and track non-conforming material to customer MRBu2019s. Initiate, recommend and provide solutions through designated channels Lead investigation of escapes to determine root cause and organize corrective action Lead risk assessment for assigned process Utilize product and process knowledge to develop and implement process and management system improvement opportunities. Develop project scope, justification, economics and drive projects to conclusion Implement defect detection and avoidance measures, and develop and implement First Pass Quality measures Develop a working knowledge of the upstream processes to improve and contribute to the overall manufacturing process Develop process capability metrics for assigned product and utilize statistical methods to develop and implement capability improvements Lead evaluation of test equipment, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing Develop and conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools Write and implement quality procedures Apply Lean principals to develop product, process, and manufacturing improvements Qualifications/Requirements: Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited University or College A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, sourcing or operations ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT : This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
