Job Description This position will provide operational support to the fractionator facilities at the Geismar, LA plant in addition to performing scheduling activities. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Operates Process and manages site of an olefins fractionator and in compliance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines. Comprehends, generates, implements and communicates operating and maintenance procedures Generates and administers work permits, LOTO, and MOC Read, comprehend, generate and audit P&lDs Consults and collaborates with others on construction projects, optimization matters to resolve operating issues and to identify opportunities for improvement Collaborates with support personnel and others to identify opportunities and for improvement and to resolve operating issues Load\/unload trucks, take receipt from and deliver to pipelines Ensure quality control by sampling, analyzing, and interpreting the results and working with Lab personnel Prepares and administers work orders. Adhere to DEQ EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations that apply to operations Actively participates, comprehends, and implements regulatory and company policies and procedures Utilizes continuous improvement processes and concepts to enhance safety, environmental sensitivity and leadership throughout the facility Works with other operators and support personnel to complete daily functions in a safe and productive manner Identifies business development opportunities and communicates them to plant manager Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent Computer proficiency with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong team player, listens well, open to learning from others, engages in abilities of others Self motivator and can perform duties unsupervised Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a group Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Can communicate well through verbal and written means Preferred Skills: Plant experience Special Characteristics\/Job Requirements: Full time, regular hours, overtime and call outs required\u00a0 Ability to continuously carry 50lbs. plus
