Coordinator Jobs
An energy coordinator is typically responsible for overseeing the organization's energy use so as to maximize efficiency; serving as a single point to oversee the implementation of energy projects; acting as a liaison between senior management, plant managers and energy providers; providing strategic coordination for various projects and initiatives regarding implementation of energy conservation practices; monitoring and tracking utility use, utility budget, utility bills, and billing process for all facilities; analyzing utility bills to learn about energy usage trends; analyzing data; preparing reports and plans; maintaining energy management records; coordinating the procurement of energy; evaluating design and cost proposals for energy conservation projects; researching and analyzes future energy-related technologies and performing other duties as required. An energy coordinator reports to an energy manager.
An energy coordinator should have a degree in a relevant area. Excellent academic credentials are essential for an energy coordinator. Prior experience as an energy coordinator may be advantageous.
